Policies and Procedures

Enrollment Procedure

Open enrollment for students not presently attending the Early Learning Center begins in January. Enrollment priority is given to siblings of children currently enrolled in the ELC. To enter our 3-year-old program, children must reach that age on or before Sept 1st of that year.  Children entering our 3-year-old program are required to be toilet trained.

St. Paul’s Catholic Early Learning Center welcomes students without regard to their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, ability, gender, or family structure.

Waiting List

Application for enrollment begins by filling out the Waiting List Application or by calling the office to be added to the list. There is no fee to be added to the Waiting List. Due to the high number of waiting list applicants, you will only be contacted when a spot becomes available for your child.

Tours

Tours need to be scheduled in advance and are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9:30am – 11:30am. This is a great opportunity to see the classroom and students in action, as well as, a time to ask any questions you may have regarding our procedures and curriculum.

Decision

Once we have contacted you regarding an open spot, we ask that you inform us of your decision within 24 hours by calling the office at 904-247-8255. If no contact is made by the deadline, we will contact the next family on the waiting list. The non-refundable $150 Registration Fee is due upon acceptance of the available spot (via FACTS).

Enrollment and Required Forms

Once we have been notified that you have accepted a spot, you will be required to complete an online application through St. Paul’s Catholic School. There is a non-refundable $25 diocesan fee assessed when completing this form.

An Enrollment Packet will be sent electronically after the online application has been submitted and imported. Included in this packet will be our healthy child policy, food policy and toilet training policy. You will also create your FACTS account, which is our online tuition/billing system. Please be aware of the included deadline for submitting forms.

Children may not attend St. Paul’s Catholic Early Learning Center without current shot and physical forms (Form 680 or 681 and Form 3040) on file.

Tuition

Tuition is paid via the FACTS online payment system. You may choose to pay tuition in full, in 6 month installments or monthly. There are separate fees associated with each of these options. Tuition payments are made a month in advance (ex. in July, August tuition is paid).

Withdrawal Policy

We ask that you provide the office with two weeks notice prior to withdrawing your child from our program so that we may make arrangements to fill the vacancy. The current month’s tuition is not refundable.
